Claire completed her undergraduate training in Scotland, and graduated with her medical degree from the University of Glasgow in 2013. She spent the early years of her career training in the acute specialties in the UK, before moving to New Zealand in 2018. She spent some further time working in hospital medicine at Dunedin hospital, before settling on General Practice in 2022.
 
Claire enjoys the variety of primary care, and enjoys looking after the physical and mental health of her patients both young and old. In her spare time, Claire enjoys reading, drinking good coffee, walking the coastline and spending time with her husband and rescue cat.
